Newbie at Crystal Reports

I am assigned a task in Crystal Reports to complete. I know very little regarding it. But was wondering if someone could assist me in trying to remove an e-mail notification.

We have several Reports in crystal reports that need to be deleted. The reports are from our Project Server dbase. Each month, an e-mail in set out to our management team. I have deleted the reports and deleted the objects. I am tryng to make sure that an e-mail is not sent out.

Can someone assist me in finding where to stop this notification?

    Hi,

This may depend on what mechanism you are using to house these Crystal Reports. Are you using Business Objects Enterprise? Crystal Reports Server? A custom JDK or .NET application?

Business Objects Enterprise and Crystal Reports Server both have scheduling programs that automatically send (or attempt to send) the results of a report. Within the InfoView portal, these will appear as instances or publications. A instance usually is scheduled to go to one or a few individuals, while publications are designed to go to large amounts of people.

Most likely you will need to delete the scheduled occurrence for this report from the instance or publication manager.

    Hope this helps,

    Dave
