Key Figures not appearing in MultiProvider after new InfoCube is added

Hi,

I am facing a problem while doing some changes on a BW 3.5 box. There is a MultiProvider that we have here, which already contains some ODS and cubes and is working fine.

The problem is when I tried to add a new InfoCube to it. I was able to add and identify the required characteristics. However, when I tried to select the key figures, I do not see any entry for the new InfoCube. That is, when I open the "Select Key Figures" window, it shows me the infoproviders we had originally, but there is no check box available for the new cube I created. This is strange because the new cube does contain the key figure that is there in the MP. It should be a direct mapping, but because there is no checkbox displayed for the new cube, I am not able to add the cube to the MP.

Is there something I'm missing? Would appreciate help on this.

Hi Suhas,

The screen to select an extra InfoProvider should appear when you go in change on your MultiProvider. If the InfoProvider is not available in this list, I see as only option that your new InfoProvider has not been saved and activated correctly?

Not sure what the problem was. I managed to resolve it by delete the IC data, removing the KF and putting it back in. Maybe it is an issue of, as you pointed out, activation.
