Pld Order every 8 Months

Hi - I have a material that I need to purchase every 8 months at a fixed Qty - We purchase 200 every 8 months and may only use 500 within this period - is there a way that the system will generated a planned order for me every 8 months regardless of the fact that there is sufficient qty on hand and little demand? thank you
