Cannot call WAPI interface 'SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER' in this context

Hi All,

We are using standard HCM process HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION. Here we have used standard workflow WS45600028.

While approving from uwl, workflow will complete without any error through SWIA tcode. But when we check log through SLG1 tcode, its giving error message Cannot call WAPI interface 'SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER' in this context.

Anybody got this message before, Please provide your opinion.

Hello,

I get the same message "Cannot call WAPI interface 'SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER' in this context" in function PT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE and method if_pt_req_message_handler~get_messages.

I will approve a leave-request in ESS. But during the workflow, I will get the error message. If I will do this function in dialog mode, everything is ok!

Does anybody know a solution???

I think the workitem might have been locked when the update needed to be done.

We have used all standard process. There is no any z development. and also we are not able to find out why this error is coming in SLG1 transaction.

Hi Smit,

I am facing the same issue with FM- SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE. I am calling this FM from a method of zclass. So i copied this FM and commented the "return_code = 900" (lines) in ZFM, but i am getting message "Status change from COMPLETED to ERROR is not allowed/possible". Pls let me know, how you solve this issue.
