Hello Experts,
We are having spool limit of 32000 in SAP BW system. But while adhoc loads or weekly loads this limit breached and all background jobs are occupied. All our loads will fail or hang due to no background jobs.
It has been observed that lot of jobs for IDOC processing for program RBDAPP01 runs and creating spools in system.
Any one came across this sort of issue in SAP BW? There are sap notes to remove the printing parameter but nothing specific to BW so before implementing those trying to explore other options.
Thanks,
Bhavin Vyas
Hi bhavin.vyas,
I think you can only manage this be reorganizing the jobs been executed. Maybe you have the RBDAPP01 scheduled too often and it went out of resources.
To avoid too many jobs runs in parallel, you can utilize the report RSBTONEJOB2. You have to create a variant for this report telling it, which report, variant you are executing with which job. It checks if there is another job running already and only starts a new occurrence when nothing is running. This avoids you to start too many parallel RBDAPP01
If I remember, this report was part of an OSS message to be installed. In case you don't find it in your system, check the notes to install it.
Kind regards
Helmut

@helmut.skolaut3 Can you please help us with this issue? I have seen below thread for similar issue in PI.
Since I am having SAP BW background I am not aware about the technicality of mentioned answer in thread.
If you can explain exact solution, that will really help us.
