Intercompany - Replicate data in new branch company

Hi,

I have created a new branch company in SAP intercompany.

The question is:
There are lots of stuff in our Head Office database that we need to replicate to the new branch company, for instance:

- Freight
- Item Group
- Manufacturer
- Unit of measurements
- Unit of measurement group
- Master Item data

and so on...

Can we use Intercompany to easily replicate all this data or do we need to use the built in import/export functionality in SAP to achieve this?

Hi,

In a branch setup, there is only one company database to deal with. Hence, there is no need to replicate your master data. Only the fact you need to assign the respective data to each respective branch in their relevance.

But in using the official intercompany module, you can replicate them onto a new independent company database easily.

We are using SAP Business One 9.3 and last version of SAP Intercompany.
