Hi All,

I am trying to print the special characters. Iu2019m able to create the spool with the special characters. But when Iu2019m trying to print or trying to convert this in to PDF file special characters are converted to hash #. How can I print the special characters?

Thanks & Regards

  1. occurs usually because the code page of the device type of the output device is incorrect (it doesn't convert this character).

1) Do you use frontend printing?

2) what device type do you use? What is its code page?

3) Which character is it? What is its hexadecimal value? (by debug, or display the spool in hexadecimal mode)

4) which language does this character belong to?

These are special characters. (Polish characters).

and for the other questions?

For Polish, if it's frontend printing, you should use Latin2 device type I2SWIN (code page 1406), but there are sometimes some exceptions for some characters.
