SAP Data Services IDOC XML File

Good Day,

I need to produce an XML file to load into MDG-A Data Import Framework.

MDG does not want a normal XML message, it wants <IDOC Begin = "1" > at the start and each segment must have SEGMENT = "1" in it with 1 incrementing for each idoc.

I imported IDOC ARTMAS09 and used it as a FIle target, the output however is not XML, it is flat. Is this perhaps a config change in DS? Or is this target not in XML.

I then tried using the IDOC as a Message and filling in the Test File Parameter. The File is not written and DS send the IDOC to S4. This was was not what i experienced with older versions of DS where i could easily write out an IDOC XML.

The DS versions im using are 4.2 SP8 and SP9, both versions behave in the manner explained above.
