Upgrading MobiLink version 12 to version 17

I am in the process of upgrading our Mobilink server from version 12 to version 17 and we use custom sync scripts and a windows service on the Mobilink side of things. We also use Ultralite DB for the mobile devices and Oracle 12c for the consolidated Database. My primary question is if I upgrade the Oracle database to be compliant with version 17 of Mobilink and re-run our SQL script that contains all of our sync scripts would I then theoretically just need to create the Windows service and it would run like it did before on version 12 or will there be issues. Because we do not have a project in version 12 of Mobilink so creating a synchronization model from scratch to emulate what our scripts are doing would take far too long and a lot of trial and error.

Here is the recommended approach (order) to MobiLink upgrades. Your MobiLink clients, if v12 or later, do not need to be upgraded.

When you say "I upgrade the Oracle database to be compliant with version 17 of Mobilink", I assume that means that the existing schema and data will be retained, correct? If so, you should be able to simply invoke the appropriate upgrade script in the MobiLink\Upgrade which updates the MobiLink system tables and retains the existing defined scripts.
