Hello,
I want to schedule a report in order to save it as an excel for historical purposes (I want to use the information on this file as a query in another report to compare deviations on the information).
For that reason, it would be helpful to save it on my folder in BO. Would it be possible? How can I do it?
Thank you,
Patrícia
You cannot schedule the report BO public folder.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
BO inbox will not work in your requirement.Only way is to schedule the report on shared location (BO server or network drive).Use that particular report output for creating other reports.Everytime BO report schedule will overrite the existing instance at shared location and no need to map again & again.

I think if you can schedule the report output in excel/csv/text format at BO server location then later you can use same as input for other reports.

The only way I found was to send it to my BO Inbox. However, everytime the report runs, it creates a new message on my Inbox. So, in order to keep using the updated information as a query on other report, I have to keep updating the source of data for the query. 😕
That's why I would like to save it in My Favourites folder. I suppose this way, it would overwrite the changes and keep me just the information from the last run.
Till now, I keep unknowing how can I save a document in "My Documents" on BO platform.
You mean in your favorites. When you right click on the documents, you should see option "Schedule", if you don't see the option, you don't have rights to setup the schedule.
Schedule the report with destination to send it your BO inbox, which can be viewed under "My documents", Inbox, or you can schedule to "Default enterprise location" which the instance can be viewed only from the report history. and you can download the file to your local drive to save it.

what do you mean by own documents? You can schedule it to Inbox or BO default location with in BO.

No, and there are several enhancement requests for this functionality:
