BI Content Error

HI ALL,

System: BI 7

Source :4.7

If i try install the 2LIS_11_VAITM from Business Content , it leads to SAP R3 Login Screen , if i give the

user name and password its again leads to BI System , and again comes to SAP R3 Screen .?

(Earlier it was correctly installed the objects from BI Content !)

what is the problem ?

it is because, datasource belongs to source system ( R3). So, it is also good to install datasources in R3 system rather than installing in BI System.

Goto Source system R3 system

Goto Tcode RSA5

Select the datasource and click on Activate datasource

and then

Goto BI system

Goto RSA1 -> Source system -> Say relipcate datasource by right clickin on Application component SD.

Usually, you get this login userid and password when you do not have authorization to r3 system i.e you should have a role S_RS_DS to activate the datasource from BI System.
