Good day,

when I try and use SQL in the 'command' feature I get the error:

Failded to retrieve data from the database.

Details: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist [Database vendor code: 942]

this is the SQL:

SELECT look.UDL_DESCRIPTION, h.PRJ_NUMBER, c.COMPANY_NAME, h.OPEN_DATE, s.DESCRIPTION, h.CM_UDF_005 AS "Revenue", t.description AS "TYPE" FROM PROJECT_HEADER h LEFT JOIN USER_DEFINED_LOOKUPS look ON h.PJH_UDL_004 = look.UDL_AUTO_KEY join companies c on c.cmp_auto_key = h.cmp_auto_key join project_status s on s.pjs_auto_key = h.pjs_auto_key left join project_classification l on l.pcf_auto_key = h.pcf_auto_key left join project_priority p on p.pjp_auto_key = h.pjp_auto_key left join PROJECT_TYPES t on t.PJT_AUTO_KEY = h.PJT_AUTO_KEY LEFT JOIN SYS_USERS u on h.SYSUR_AUTO_KEY = u.SYSUR_AUTO_KEY

I am able to exicue this SQL in other database admin tools, what am I missing here?

Hi,

I assume you refer to the "SQL Command Editor" in ST04.
That is not a full SQL command in order to avoid access to customer tables. By default (latest versions) only allow access to V$ and DBA.

Therefore, the command you run will not work.

Hi ,

PROJECT_HEADER belong to SAPSR3? Please note command editor is using sapsr3 user to log on database, to query data.

Best regards,
James
