Hi SDN Community

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3d/0dfe3980f23728e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

According to this SAP documentation

Calling up the Web template with an activated trace

http://yourAppServer:yourPort/SAP/BW/BEx?CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=yourTemplate&TRACE=X

Can you tell me where this file gets produced.

It indicates this OSS NOTE, but i cannot download as the SAP market place inbox is not working presently.

Activate OLAP trace

You usually need a trace to analyze problems in SAP. You can activate the trace with the help of note 112458 or by using the TRACE attribute.

Thanks.

Simon

Hi Simon,

TRACE=X query string will record a backend trace, which can be accessed through the transaction RSTT...

SAP Note 899572 will help you in this regard...

Hi Imran,

Thank you.

I think i have found without looking at OSS Note yet, because Market place is still down

I have gone to transaction

RSRTRACE

and looked at all logs.

I can see that my log, is datestamped today,

and i can see that the SET_DRILL_STATE is what action i enacted.

But going into the log, gets me to the debug.

Do you know how i can find the web api command that was responsibile for my action within this log area.

Thank you.

Simon
