Customer defined fields (User fields) in the WBS element overview screen

Hello everybody,

Does anybody of you know whether it is possible to shown the Customer defined fields (CDFs) on the WBS element overview screen in the CJ20N Tcode?

I need to show them on any TAB (standard one/new one) and they must shown all the data and must be ready for input - so I can change the values in them.

You can see the User-defined fields in WBS Element Overview, under Over.(Overall) tab. You will see those fields at the end of the table.

I'm talking about fields which have been implemented using User-Exit CNEX0007 - I can't see them in the overview screen. Do I need to set up something special???

I think, that you've spoken about User fields - the ones which are provided by SAP and their names can be influenced by "Field Key" - this can been seen, but I don't need these.

for WBS customer fields via exit CNEX007 you will need to create a layout in config and the using the user detaill screen bring that in the WBS

SPRO -> PS -> got to WBS ->user interface settings -> layout screens -> include user defined screen

add another screen 902 with your description (Tab Name)

you can then choose to go for the laout configuration

I think you describe the way of how to implement Customer defined fields on a special TAB on the WBS element using User-Exit CNEX0007. This is already done and working - we have many CDFs on every WBS element on a special TAB.

Now we need to show them on the "WBS Element Overview" - you go there by pressing the button (yellow triangle) on the Project Definition level. There we need to show them.

Or if you were describing that, please could you describe your solution more in detail - e/g/ step-by-step???

Interesting - now I see your issue

for that you will need to add the ZZ fields on the SAPLCJWB 0906 screen - this will enable them on the Overview tab

if you need a new tab then you need to create a new tab maybe SAPLCJWB 0907 anc check out

check with ABAPer

Ok, thanks for suggestion - I'll take a look if it works.

I suppose, that we will need an Access Key to create a new screen for the standard program SAPLCJWB.

Currently I don't have this Access key and I guess, that it's not going to be easy to get it.

Do you manage to display customized fields in WBS Overview Screen (CJ20N) via the yellow triangle button? If yes, can you provide me the steps or is there any user exit to do it? I have implemented user eixt CNEX0007 and customized fields are working properly, just that I need to display customized fields in WBS Overview Screen (CJ20N) as per your requirement in your thread.
