NWA Template: CIM_ERR_FAILED HTTP response code 403 Forbidden

Hello all,

I have a problem while running the NetWeaver Administrator (NWA) Configuration Wizard with the template

'BI-Java / Technical configuration of BI-Java'.

I enter the data for users and passwords (which are all right, I checked this many times).

After proceeding it gives me the error:

Validation Error:
Test SLD connection:It was not possible to test the SLD system (SLD_HOST) with the user (SLD_ADMIN)
and its password given in the property sheet.
Please verify and retype the values in the corresponding fields. You can also go to
visual administrator -> "SID" -> Server xx -> Services -> Configuration adaptor -> CTC -> Propertysheet SystemProperties,
make sure that the parameters related to SLD are correctly typed and rerun the template.

I checked the entry several times and the user and password are right in the CTC.

Also I can log in the SLD with the given users and passwords manually.

In the log file

i found the following error message (shortened):
Unexpected exception catched and will be rethrown:
 {1} CIM_ERR_FAILED: HTTP response code: 403 Forbidden'

What does this mean? To which server is the connection forbidden? Which user?

Can anyone help me with this?

Regards, Michael

Please check the whether user id SLDSUSER, J2EE_ADMIN is locked or password expired or validity expired. Then in Visual Administrator under Instance -> Server0 -> SLD Supplier

check whether the CIM Connection is successful, else rectify the issue.

    Hope this will work..

This issue is generally encountered because of 2 reasons.

    1. Your SLDDSUSER being locked.

    2. The SLDDSUSER not existing in your system.
