I want to know about CL_GUI_ALV_GRID..?

Why we are using this Class, is this important for Editable ALV_GRID and why..?

And what is the Role of this class when we are using this one in ALV_GRID..?

I need clear explanation about this, please help me any one..,?

I guess the question related to Embedded Analytics where Crystal Reports viewed in ALV Viewer.

I know the support component for this type of questions - BC-SRV-ALV (SAP List Viewer), but not sure which Community tag should be used for the component. It could be ABAP Development or BW, but certainly not the SAP Crystal Reports.

What is the name of SAP Product you are using? ALV Viewer for Crystal Reports used in many SAP Applications.
