Hi,
Could Standard Model of SAP BPC be used in SAP S/4 HANA .
Regards,
Samhita
Hello,
The answer is no if you mean using RTC with BPC standard. I know BPC can be installed as an embedded component (not to be confused with BPC embedded) in S/4HANA. As of now I don't have any details how many customers would install and use BPC standard in S/4HANA systems.
Standard BPC is in namespace /CPMB which means all BPC providers and dimensions are created automatically in BPC specific way. The master data in BPC optimized (integrated with S/4HANA), on the other hand, have to go through a process of mapping from ACDOC* tables to BPC dimensions, by the transactions and tools provided through RTC. Furthermore, IOBJ artefacts are specifically designed and implemented to be populated using specific HANA views from ACDOC* tables. Therefore, their content and implementation is specific BPC optimized, not standard.
I hope that this helps.
