Hi Experts,
When I do posting in MB1B I found the error as below for some materials,
System lock administration error. Please notify your admistrator
We have checked with basis team as they said there were no lock entries for the specific users.
Can anybody guide me how to overcome this problem? Please respond ASAP.
Cheers,Kumars///
This message may come up if SAP is not able to set a lock. not the other way around as your basis admin expected.
there are hundreds of OSS notes if you search OSS with the key words " System lock administration error"
So you either have a serious problem in your SAP system that effects probably all users and transactions, or it was just temporary and you can execute your MB1B now.

check if you are running out of lock space in total, this might not be just user specific, maybe an other user has thousands of lock entries that made the lock table to overflow.
...txn SM12 --> extra --> statistics.
The field 'maximum fill level' will give you an indication if the configuration is inadequate.
