Hello Experts,
We are migrating from SAP PI 7.3 dual to SAP PO 7.5 single stack. The scenario is IDoc --> File where we have multiple folders to post the file according to content of the payload. In current PI 7.3 dual stack, IDocs are triggered from ECC in sequence based on Queue and all the IDocs which are arrived in PI will be processed in sequence which means if any message failed/stuck for this interface then subsequent messages arriving PI will be stuck with HOLD status. PI support team will cancel the failed/stuck message then subsequent will be processed. In single stack we need to migrate the same interface, but when we create IDoc sender channel in SAP PO 7.5 single stack & select the option EOIO in Integration directory it's asking for Queue name as shown in below snippet. Where should we create this Queue in PI or ECC? Kindly guide me to resolve this. Thanks in advance!
You need not to create the queue anywhere.
Give a queue name as per your choice. System will generate the queue automatically referring the name mentioned by you in the Sender CC.

Hi Ramu!
As you can see from the screenshot above, "Queue name" parameter is mandatory and it should be set. But if IDoc serialization is enabled and queue name assignment logic is implemented in the source system - Java IDoc adapter will use queue name from incoming IDoc instead of that provided in adapter settings.
