F3 Stock type in EWM

Hi all ;

I created (copied from F2) stock type EWM. But, i try to pick up (removal of stock) when sap doesn't take into account pallets of F3 stock type.

Is there a way to manage it ?

SAP is runing tonight towards incorrect way 🙂 Actually , i found my solution but i am not sure what is going on !

I configurated system such a given below. It seems ok . Referance : Stock determination

I exactly want to do when i run stock removal .

I will check it with lots of example and inform you.

^{Yes, with stock determination you can find alternative stocks to the original required stock.}

^{But first of all, as I wrote, the entry you made for the combination of stock type / availability group / loc. independent stock type should not be possible.}

^{Secondly: you wrote "I will pick-up but not be transfered production" (which I believe means that you want to be able to pick this stock, except when it is for production staging purposes). But the stock determination group is simply in the warehouse product, it is not depending on what process you are picking for, at least in the standard.}

Hello Juergen Pitz ,

I found the reason how i can create F3 . My configuration is not contain any selection for stock type role ' ' . That's why system give me permission to create this record. However, i can manage my requirement there is no problem.

Hi,

I wanted to write: "I am pretty sure that the above entry can only be created must be a bug. Because it does not make any sense." But I don't have to, because in my system (EWM9.5) it is not possible to create this entry ("Stock type data identical to F2; attributes must be unique"). So it must be a bug.

What you try to achieve is not possible this way. You can not have two stock types with the same stock information.

well, if it is not QM stock - what is it then? How do you get the stock into this stock type? What does this correspond to in ERP?

Hi Juergen Pitz,

It is related with FF Unrestrescted stock for integration ERP. I have only one restriction when i transfer to production.

I will check and cancel transfer to production.

I created F3 to find differences in transfer. It will behave such a F2 in warehouse operations.

Configuration :

I did not understand why SAP did not find HU that belongs to F3 status when i run stock removal ! I checked outbound delivery order , F2 is assigned. I hope that is why only F2 HUs are listed. How can i add F3 stocks can be removed ?

If i can not find a standard solution, i ll try badi --> SCWM/EX_CORE_RMS_DETERMINE to add F3 stocks to available for stock removal stocks.

Hi,

of course there is a way to manage it... but what are you really trying to do? What does F3 stock type correspond to? If you have another stock type for unrestricted stock, that means you want to use another storage location. Which means you need another availability group and all the determination settings. And no ROD/AFS scenario.

Hi Juergen Pitz ,

QM module needs to use F3 such a semi-accepted pallets. This is not quality stock also they want to pick up from storage bin but also they do not want to transfer production.

I will pick-up but not to be transfered production. I can not use Q4 because it is used for another purpose.
