Hi,
What is the reason for Unassigned nodes appearing in hierarchy when the query is executed in BEx?
Thanks.
If you don't want to see the unassigned nodes, you can change a setting in the hierarchy in RSH1 on the particular hierarchy.
On the Hierarchy Attributes button you have an option to Supress Unassigned Nodes.

Hello,
That means you have characteristic values which are not included in hierarchy, but they are still present in the cube/ODS.
E.g. you have financial statement heirarchy composed only of subset of GL accounts, you'll see the rest od GL accounts in Unassigned nodes.
Best regards
Ondrej
