Need for Windows in smartforms

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the use of windows in smartform. Can't we directly write on the page and align the text.

Another thing is if window is there then what is the need for 'Address' node.

Hi,

Please check this for Address Node :

In a page you can't directly create the text. For that you need a window or address or graphic window. So you can't create a text without window.

Hi,

First of All there are many Threads regarding this in SCN.

1. In a Page you cant directly write and Align. You have to create window.(You can try yourself if you can)

In a page You can create graphics window , Address node etc.

2. In Address window if you pass Address number(Either a specific Address no or in form of Variable )

It will display the whole adress from ADRC.

You can assign it in inside a window or a page.
