Hello all,
Is it possible in EH&S - product safety to hide a substance on the MSDS, i.e. prevent it from displaying on the report?
Issue is this: we have a composition on a substance in the property tree with (for example) 3 component-substances. Suppose we only want to show 2 component-substances on the MSDS report. Is there a way we can achieve this from the specification workbench? We do not want configure the template in order to achieve this.
Thanks in advance,
KInd regards,

Hi,
Hiding of a value in the value assignment type can be done by changing the usage parameters. Change the rating to INTERNAL which hides the printing of value in the final report.
Hope it solves the issue

Hello
in addition of what has been explaind yet:
normally you would generate two data record in this property (or in a different one). One data record with three components having one usage and a second one having only two components with a different usage. Now by adjusting the generation variant (which usage take to be into account) only one of them will be retrieved as explained to be used in the final report.
A further not recommended option is to use the "exception value" and to do some programming.
With best regards
CB
