What is Journal Voucher, please explain with an example the use of journal voucher with respect to CIN.

The JV in CIN is generally passed for the following scenarios:

1. Payment of Excise Duty through PLA

PLA A/c Dr

To PLA on Hold A/c

2. Adjustment of Excise Duty

Hi,

Genrally this particular JV is passed at the time of PLA account, amount is deposited in PLA ,for the utilization purpose of amount from PLA account.This JV is passed from J1IH.

Hi,

We pass the Excise JV by Tcode J1IH. The entry which is passed will affect the Excise registers as well as the FI records. If you pass the FI JV, it will not affect the excise records.
