User participation has long been cited as a crucial component of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementations. However, real-world implementations offer challenges to this assertion that may not be fully understood by the research community. The insights, analysis, and assessment from those in the field are vital to provide both research and practice with accessible, actionable data for ongoing and future projects.
I am conducting a study which attempts to bridge certain gaps between research and practice regarding ERP implementations and user participation. As such, I seek an organization with which to partner on this study. Such From the organization, I am seeking out the project managers who led the project, users engaged in the process, change managers (if applicable), and HR managers.
I'm looking for about 15 people from the organization to contribute 15-20 minutes of their time to help provide me with their valuable insight and experiences.
The benefits of participating include:
u2022 Project managers will gain insight into the best practices of engaging users (what worked/what didn't)
u2022 Users' reflection on the implementation will help both the participant and the researcher (myself) gain a better understanding of how users should be engaged
u2022 Users will get to appreciate the hard work they put into the project
u2022 HR managers should see how the users were able impact the final outcome of their HR data
If your organization is willing to participate, I would be greatly appreciative.
