Problem in AGR_1251 download

Hi All,

I am using AGR_1251 to list all auth. objects and their field values in a role.

When I download it to an excel file,I find that a few rows are merged in one column.

This makes the purpose of listing fail

Has anyone else faced the same issue. Please advise.

Peeyush.

Use the text import wizard to split it into columns with | as the delimiter

This isn't a problem, you just need to have a play with excel to get the data into the format you can work with.

Hi Peeyush

This is standard Excel functionality. Use the F1 help to search on "Text Import Wizard" and it will give you lots of info on how you can import different types/formats from flat file.

I prefer using the export->spreadsheet functionality, available when your list output is set to ALV. One big advantage is that Excel will treat all fields as text, regardless of their contents. This preserves leading zeroes as well.
