Bulk role upload /append

hi ,

I need to assign a newly added role to a set of 250 users. The users already have some roles assigned in portal. If I need to do bulk role upload using import in user admin, I need to collect already assigned roles to user and add new role and assign which is a huge task.

is there any alternate way to save time in this regard?

Hi Prabhu,

What is a datasource of your portal ( iis it abap or java only )?

if it is Abap , are all the users present in backend system ?

Go to the user admin,Select the role from the search criteria,click on modify button and go to Assigned Users tab.

To select the users that you want to assign to the role, choose (Add Users) and then save.

This will solve your problem.
