CIM_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED: User is not in role LcrInstanceWriterLD

Former Member

Hello Guru's,

we have a diffuse issue at creating our ESS JCo connections.

We get the error "CIM_ERR_ACCESS_DENIED: User is not in role LcrInstanceWriterLD"

But the user who is used is in the role LcrAdministrator.

Now we have add him to LcrInstanceWriterAll, LcrInstanceWriterLD, LcrInstanceWriterNR, LcrSupport, LcrUser, too.

We tried with a copied user and with j2ee administrator.

Restart the System.

But we get still the same error.

The local SLD is inital configured with SLD Post-Installation Guide NW70SPS19.

The UME actions are mapped to the roles.

We don't found some solution in the forum.

anyone some ideas?!

regards

chris

Hi fellows

I got a case with this same error. The error was because customer was logged in with an account with insufficient privileges.

The solution was the customer logged out and logged in with the Buit-in admin account and he was able to run the commands needed.

If you are running into this error it is because your user dont have enough privileges

Hi Christian,

I think your SLD is not proplerly configured.

Check your CIM Data in the SLD and update your CIM.

Either You can manualy do intial configuration of your SLD OR by using http://host:port/nwa. once done here. Check your SLD running or not.

If running then go to the visual administrator and check the SLD option here

SLD data and CIM Data fetch should be successful from SLD.

Hop this will helps

Thanks

Hi,

If The user used in the CIM Client Generation Settings in VA->Services->SLD Data Supplier does NOT have the necessary authorization to write in the SLD this error will occur. So use the Authorized user in this setting.

For sure this will solve the issue.

Did you perform the user mapping to roles and run the SLD test from Visual Admin, does it trigger the SLD data transfer sucessfully?

Also redo/check if you have performed the steps as mentioned in below wiki:-
