Dear Soumen,
u can restirct decimal places of a UOM by setting system msg.
Go to CUNI.....leave blank decimal Place.....
Now go to system message.....
here Put msg no ME678 as Error.
Now system will give u error if u put decimal after a qty for that UOM.
Hope Help U!

Hi,
Go to SE91....put class as ME....put .msg no 678 ......or all msges in that class .....
Some are std and some you have to maintain in spro....
and go to spro...in environment...... system message.....
Put this Msg as Error......u will not find this....u have to add this.....there

Sir,
My requirement is not to restrict all the uom . I want to restrict the decimal places where i mention 0 decimal palce.
Line UOM Nos , system would not allow decimal places.
I hope , my query is clear now .

Soumen

you cannot change the decimals to be zero.
SAP always uses 3 decimals in inventory managment.
Only thing you can influence in CUNI is is how much decimals you present to the user.
so you can show him no decimals, while SAP internally still has decimals.
you can try to restrict a user from entering decimals (different from ,000 ) by checking this in an user exit (enhancement MBCF0002)
