Fixed sampling

Hi, we want to use fixed sampling procedure during receiving inspection. I could not find any field to assign fixed sampling type in quality view of mat master. Please advise where to set sample type and size in master data?

Hi Yadav,

1st create sampling procedure with tcode QDV1 by selecting sampling type as "fixed sample".Then click on sample tab and define your fixed sample size say "5".And save the sampling procedure.

Then as suggested by Gajesh, assign this procedure by any of the method.

As far as assigning the sample size in QM view is concern this can only be achieved through sampling procedure.

Here You can only assign sampling procedure that specifies a valuation mode without valuation parameters.

So you can select fixed sampling procedure with fixed sample & valualation mode as "without valuation"

Or Other option is to attach the sampling procedure at the task list level against each MIC.

Dear Yadav

you can assign the sampling procedure in 3 ways

1) in config - SPRO > QM > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Define Default Values for Inspection Type > 01 > Sampling procedure

2) In material master > QM view > inspection setup > details information > sampling procedure

3) create an inspection plan using QP01 for the material and assign the sampling procedure against the MIC
