Deleting Service PO

Dear Friends,

I have made a service order & I did service acceptance after doing entry in the service entry sheet

Now due to some reasons I want to delete the service order, so I revoked service acceptance, deleted the line item in service entry sheet, now when I am trying to delete the line item item in the Po its showing me an error message MEPO 834.

Kindly suggest the possible reasons for this error message .

Please have a look at note

856359 Prevent deletion of PO items with unaccepted entry sheets

In order to delete PO item with unaccepted SES you need to delete

this unaccepted SES first.

In the GR based IV we do not have the control of the quantity check

as it is always one and a GR document is posted always with quantity

1 when an SES is accepted.

The system behaves differently for the SRV based IV as we have

the control of the invoices based on the quantity and in that case the

note 842013 was created because the system earlier allowed to delete the

PO item.

Thats the reason why the note 842013 will not handle for the GR based IV

as the qty check makes no relevance when the PO is GR based.This is the

standard behaviour.In case if you require such a control then you can

use the SRV based IV.
