Hi,
We have a Cloud Control Centre server and a B1if instance (version 1.22.15.1) attached to it. For stability reasons we've had to schedule a job to stop and start the service overnight. Initially it worked fine, but soon the start up was failing, so I setup the script to try starting the service again for 20 minutes, which fixed the issue. 90 days later, the stop of the service has now passed the 20 minute mark so it's failing again. I've increased the time to 100 minutes which has solved the problem for now, but I'm wondering why the time to stop the service is slowly increasing?
Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing the service stop time to slowly increase like this? It increases anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds each day
Thanks
Adam
Hello Adam,
I would suggest to find the root cause why it falls over every couple of days.
For the issue you reported, you may try to restart at another time(Maybe 2 hours earlier or 2 hours later).
I guess at that specific time, something is running.
Thanks & best regards

Hi Huan,
We restart the service overnight, because if we don't it falls over every couple of days on its own. At least if we restart, it is reliably available in the morning when they need it. Almost all of our B1if sites have a similar overnight script in order for them keep running, it's just this site takes a very long time for the service to stop. I'm fairly sure nothing is happening when the service restarts so I don't see how it can be the queue, nor why the queue would cause it to gradually increase over time.
Thanks
Adam

Hello Adam,
May I know why you want to stop and start the service?
It may be not a common usage to stop & start service too often.
Normally, it takes time when something is running in the queue.
Thanks & best regards
