SQL Server 2008 R2 (10.50) - new certification?

Will the new SQL Server 2008 R2 require a full certification or is this handled like a service pack upgrade?

Compatibility is set to '100', we were testing the November CTP preview on Windows 2008 R2 (6.1) and works like a charm.
