Hallo everyone!
In a planning story I would like to define, which country can plan which type of costs:
So I have a dimension defining my countries with regions, etc. and one with my cost types. Since the types to plan differ strongly between the individual countries, I would like the persons involved only to see those cost types being relevant for them. I can NOT derive this information from my actuals, since cost types for actuals and for planning differ!
I tried a couple of approaches, but nothing works: measure-based filters do not allow planning funcionalities (Why???), measure-based dimensions are quite similar in their restrictions, defining an attribute for valid cost centers for each country cannot be taken as a filter in the story, the like-formula for a calculated dimension can not work with variables in the "pattern"-expression, story variables cannot be calculated dynamically, responsibility restrictions will not work...
Any ideas, how I can dynamically select dimension members for this challenge?
