Dear experts
The purchase account posting system of 8.8 version was given one more account like PURCHASE BALANCE ACCOUNT. what is the use of this account?

Do you mean Purchase Offset Acct ? I couldn't see PURCHASE BALANCE ACCOUNT anywhere.

Please verify 8.8 version setup > itemgroup> accounting tab there you can see.
