Hi Gurus

I am working in an implementation project and Organisational Management is new for me.

I have received the om template like org unit,position & reporting structure from client.

can any body suggest me how to proceed.

Your suggestion will be highly appreciable.

map every thing in excel, then tell your abaper to make a LSMW then upload it.

do it in expet mode for LSMW

Hi Swadhin,

OM is the base for all the modules. But u have take into account of your Time Management also i.e, ur reporting should be based on the Leave approver.

U have to decide on about the reporting relationship also. Either u can go on postion to position or Position to Org Unit.

Hi Swadin,

You have to look for now the employee strength and the best possible way for uploading the OM onjects , Plan a strategy for uploading OM objects and relationships via LSMW.

I have around 300 employees for om. is it possible to create manualy and how much time it ll take to create on manualy.

or how to upload through lsmw.

HI,

You can have in simplemaintenance and u can transport it from DEV or directly u can create in PRD.

Ii think it will be easier, will consume 1-2 days if every thing is clear.
