WSM3 listing a article is not getting updated in MM42 Listing view listed from field

Dear Gurus,

I have seen various articles regrading listing via wsm3 but my queries isnt resolved .

When we are running wsm3 tcode the date over there for LISTING FROM is current date .

Tcode execute succesfull also i have executed RWDIFERENCEMARCWLK1 / RWDIFERENCEMARCWLK1_ENHANCED but when i am checking MM42 in Listing View the listed from date is still from BASIC View Date it but its not taking the DATE which i have mentioned while executing WSM3 .

Request you to please help me solving this query it would be very helpfull.

Hi Durgaprasad,

If I understand your question correctly, you would expect to get updated the listed from date on the listing tab of the MM42 after performing a listing in WSM3.

If this is the case, then your expectation is incorrect, because the Listing tab in the MM42 has a totally different purpose than showing actual data. The MM42 is storing master data for the article. You can save those listed from/to dates, and listing procedure as well.
When you perform the WSM3, you will be able to see an option 'Select by mat. listing date'.
If you set this checkbox, the listing will be performed NOT based on the dates entered on this selection screen, but taken from the MM42. When the checkbox is left empty, the listing condition will be created with the entered dates however.

So, the listing dates maintained in MM42 are never expected to be updated automatically by performing a listing on the article. I hope the reason is clear after reading my above explanation.

Would you have different issue actually, please clarify, and I try to help further.

I would like to know if i perform operations as per your expertise where i can check that these dates(Table level) of Material Dates are getting updated by ticking and unticking these functionalities.

Because when i and ticking or unticking the option on screen than also its picking system date in WLK1 table .

Hi Andreas,

I have a new listing procedure with Z function module as exit class, enhanced MM41 for few Z fields, also enhanced WSM3 for 'delete listing checkbox'.

Now i have to 1. add a validation for listing and delisting to work based on a condition on a higher level.

2. Modify the WLK1-DATBI to +90 days while delisting

3. delisting to add additional entry in the WLK1 table.

Please suggest the enhancement that can be used?
