Dear Experts,

Trying to implement PR Overall release(bus2105) with multi approval .I have used the template WS20000077 and activated and did the binding. wf is triggering but not going to any user.

Note : default rule 20000026 simulation is not working fine any issues with config level ?

Release code :M1

Requisition : BUS2105 0043000017

Task 20000159 set as general task, binding is also fine, debugger is showing overall checked X and t16fc-frgwf = 1. its not going to any user Id , i tried with rule 20000026 it gave error also after reading thru forum as its a default rule i removed it and tried no go it gives the below error

Agent determination step 000004 failed. Please help me at the earliest.

necessary config done and maintained with user id most of them said it should work without any customization.

i did auto binding when i try to add the rule any one share the screenshot of standard workflow binding for rule .

https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3835532

Also by following the above thread i did modified the data type of release code . still getting the same error.

Let me know how to fix this or i need to reach out to SAP .?

Regards,

Venkatesh

Hi

The fact that the rule is not working indicate that the agents are not found.

So till it works in simulation the problem is not in your workfow.?

As t16fc-frgwf = 1 what have you defined in table T16FW ?

It is directly users ?

if not and it is organisational unit or position, do you have a user at the end ?

is this user (for you release strategy and release code) a valid user in your system (dialog user and validity period )

Cheers

Stephane

PS I can not see the images you've attached to your message.

hi,

1. check if workflow customizing is done correctly SWU3

2. refresh the organizational buffer SWU_OBUF

3. Check the log to see what data is used in the rule, then reproduce that in pfac rule simulation

4. check the release strategy in SPRO if everything is set up correctly

Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

Thanks everyone for the quick help . I am able to solve the issues. In agent i have missed to check the green active part in standard rule assignment and also used the exit option for agent resolution it worked .

Any one worked on custom option by copying the existing PR workflow and to refuse reason text option and email options.

Also i did the extended workflow config for outlook emails. How this can be tested directly if the outlook email is configured su01d emails will go do we have any background job to trigger ?
