Recording the Results

Hi,

Need help on the following issue.

In quality inspection scenario, raw materials eg: Chemicals are purchased and they are put in to quality inspection. And these chemicals will undergo quality checks for different characters such as pH value.

How do i maintain the result of quality checks such as pH - 5, in the system?

Dear Pavan

1) Create a MIC using QS21 as pH and you can give the values as -5 in that.

2) Attach this mic in the inspection plan using QP01

3) In result recording you will get the spec values and you can record your values

I am basically a PP consultant, but for this ongoing project i am handling QM also. So I am finding myself little confused and unable to get the required output.

Hi

1.Ceate Material Master & Maintainn QM view for the same.In Qm view mainatian Inspection with task list & "Check char" along with the "auto assignment"

2.In QP01 create a Task list/Inspec plan for same material with Usage:5 & status 4

3.In Inspection plan now maintain Ph values for different characteristsics.

Select say Ph1( for X ) ,Quantitave Inspection along with fixed scope etc etc.

Ph2( for Y ) ,Quantitave Inspection

4.Create sampling procedure for the sample size (you may use fixed sampling ) in QDV1

5.Assign this against the Inspection char in QP01/2

Now create a Inspection lot.Check the status of the lot is REL.

In QS32 You can do Result recoring ,defect recording & Usage Deciosn.

or use QE01/QE70

hi sujit,

i have maintained all settings as u said.

material is chem-1, QM view - inspection type - 05, i have maintained indicators insp.with task list, auto. assignment, Check chars.

i have created MIC- PH, quantitative char. ticked, I also maintained lower, upper limits and target value.

i have defined sampling procedure, and maintained, MIC and Sampling procedures in inspection plan.

i am using t code QA32, to maintain results of the quality inspection. but here i cannot find any MIC field where in i can maintian values...!! i want to input the inspected values, how can i do it?

please let me know where i am going wrong.

What is Staus of Inspection lot is it REL or CRTD

In QA02 --->go to "Inspection Specif" -->here check the the Inspection plan which is getting attached to Lot.

Is it same which you created ro different.
