Renaming the technical name of a navigational attribute?

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is possible but I will still try my luck.

Is there a way to rename the technical name of a navigation attribute in query designer?

So for example, 0ADDRESS is a nav attr of 0CUSTOMER, so its technical name would be 0CUSTOMER__0ADDRESS. Is there a way to make it 0ADDRESS only? Assuming that I don't have the 0ADDRESS in my composite provider.

Thank you.

Loed

    Hi Leod,

It's not possible to change technical name in a query.

If you really need 0ADDRESS instead of 0CUSTOMER__0ADDRESS, do it in HCPR level. Set current HCPR as 'this composite provider can be added into another composite provider'. Then put it into a new HCPR and map 0CUSTOMER__0ADDRESS to 0ADDRESS.

See possible HCPR mapping at: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/RN0oHQ

    • Thanks a lot Giselle for the idea! I thought this function of multiprovider has been removed in composite provider since I didn't see the nav attr upon creation.
