deleting payroll areas

Hello dear experts

my manger wants me to delete all unrelated payroll areas. but if i want to delete payroll areas from spro-personnel management-personnel administration-organizational assignment-create payroll area all tables for that payroll area would not delete.

but for personnel areas we have a option to delete personnel areas and all related tables when we go to spro-enterprise structure-definition-human resource management-personnel areas- Copy, delete, check personnel area

now i want to know if there is anyway to delete payroll areas like above. and if i just delete payroll areas could there be a problem when i transport the request to quality server?

Hi,

Suggested to change the view v_t549a and remove the tick "Run Payroll" for unwanted payroll areas. Also change the text of payroll area as "Not used" to caution the payroll admin for not assigning to any employee.

Payroll area is a configuration view, so it will create a transport request.
