Hi all,
I want to delete about 1500 printers in one of our systems but I only found the solution
to delete them all or to delete individualy printers. Is there a possibility for mass deleting printers?
I have the concerned printers in a text-file, so it would be best to delete them per select-options.
Best regards
Davor

Hi,
you can try using CATT (computer aided test tools) via transaction SCAT
- create a test case
- record a transaction (on your case : transaction SPAD)
- export variant to your workstation (should be in TXT format). This will be your template.
- open this template, select all, copy
- paste to excel or another spreadsheet software
- submit printers name on appropriate column
- from excel, select all, copy
- paste back (replace) to your tempate (TXT)
- save your template
- from transaction SCAT, execute your test case
- choose template from external file, point to your template file
- execute
- done.
we have done it for : mass reset user password, add single Z-tcode to many roles etc.
hope it help you.

Hi Davor,
I do not see any options for selected deleting of printers.
Probably your ABAPer can do a bit of coding and may be able to do it.
Cheers.....,
Raghu
