Reduced file size

Hi all

Im trying to send a huge 200 MB file without content conversion using file adapter.

though im receiving the file successfully i can see that the size of the target file is reduced to 160 MB

Its strange to me. I cant see any errors

Can any one help in this regard

Is it just a normal File_to_File transfer without IR?

Or are you using any mapping also?

Check if there are more than one files getting created in the target folder.

Abhshiek, yes its file to file with one-one mapping. There are no other files getting created in the target directory. Only thing i can see is that the size is getting reduced

Hi ,

Check the target payload if any content missed,i think its difficult to check...but you have to...

if content same , then no need to worry.

Its tough to check as the size is huge..even if its the same is it possible that there can be such drastic reduction in the size.?

its really strage....if content same....just ignore it,i never come across this type of issue.

at a time are you sending 200MB file??PI Supporting 200mb FILE TRASFET AT A Time??

Yes it supports.. i tried till 350 MB. worked smooth but took time which i dont care.
