PPDS Operations

Dear Friends,

When the PPDS planning run is completed, Planned orders are generated. in the product view, when any planned order is double clicked it leads to one more screen where it displays start and end date. There is the left side it shows the planned order number, under that it shows reciepts, requirements and operation.

In my case this is shown immedietely after planning but after few hours the operations fiels itself disappears. That is very important as we have 10 to 15 operations in every order.

We can view it for sometime but later it disappears. Is it because of any background job of live cache?

Hi Vinay,

There is no job which will limit displaying the operations in

product view.

The livecache jobs try to access operation relevant data/tables

to perform consistency and during the period, the data may

not be visible or locked.

Hi Vinay,

1) Take a sample planned order and try running CCR for that

location product for planned/production orders and check

any errors are captured

2) Check is there any end users accessing the orders in

the execution system

3) Check is there any active background jobs during the time

when you check

Dear Senthil,

we have some backgroud jobs for live cache which is mandatory. Is there any job which will make only operation in product view disappear?
