Hi,
I had just finished to create my universe and Webi reports (on BOE 3.1 XI), and everything was just fine!
Suddenly, (at least I have no idea what I did) I received the following error:
u201CUniverse not found WIS 00501u201D
Please help, how can I know what is the reason? How can I solved / analyze it?
Best Regards,
DoronS
Where do you receive this error ? During which workflow ?
Can you import this universe from Repository into Designer ?
Can you see this universe in CMC>Universes ?
Can you access properties of this Universe in CMC ?
Can you see the universe files in the Input File server location (you find the path in CMC>Universes> Universe properties)
etc..

Hi,
As for your questions, here are the answers:
Can you see this universe in CMC > Universes ? Yes
Can you access properties of this Universe in CMC ? Yes
But I think I found the reason, still I do not know how to solve it.
I saw that the user security of the universe didnu2019t include any rights for the relevant group.
Here are the rights I added via the Advanced view:
- View objects that the user owns
- View objects
- New List of Values
- Show Table or Object Values
- Data Access
- Print Universe
Do I miss something?

I receive the error in Infoview when I open the Webi Report Tab and refresh the report. (it is done automatically when the report is loaded)
I do mange to see the Webi report working just fine in the Webi Rich client.
I am not sure what is the repository you are talking about.
Can you please give me more details, and I will check it out?
BTW - the error that I recvieve now is WIS 00505
Ok, so we're getting closer.
The behavior is When refreshing Webi report in Infoview - error, refreshing same report in Webi Rich Client - working.
Is that correct ?
Do you login in both tools using same user name ?
Can you import this Universe in Designer from Repository ?
(Repository is a CMS DB/FRS infostore that holds all reports and universes published to it)
You said that universe is seen in CMC, that means you published it .
Do you see any problems when you use Administrator to login to Infoview or WRC ?
Hi Denis,
T|hat is correct.
Untill now, i didint loged in witht he same user to in these 2 flows. i used a regualr user for the InfoView and the admin to the WRC.
Now when i loged in to InfoView with teh Admin user, i saw a new error:
An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommands' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)
Can you please tell me where and how do I find the Repository / CMS DB / FRS infostore?
Thanks for the assistance,
DoronS
Hi,
Isssue is solved.
the problem was that i put the LDAP group under the Everyone group and in addition I also changed lots of setting to the Everyone group.
the solution was to remove the LDAP group from the Everyone group and to give "View on Demand" rights to this group per: Connections, Universes, Application and Folders.
Bottom line - it is working.
I think that the security module is not usable and not clear at all....
Thanks!
DoronS
