Hi Guys
How to determine if the Co. Area Currency has been changed in the past?
Does it get recorded anywhere if CO Area Currency has been changed..??

You need to find Table/Customizing objects then go to SE38 check the program : RSVTPROT then execute.
Example:
CO Currency table: V_TCURR
select Start Date & End date
Execute

Use transaction OX06 and go into your controlling area. Go to UTILITIES>CHANGE LOGS

Can you explain a little bit about how to analyse the logs..

Just enter the period so log display to the object in which changes have been made and what changes have been made.
Just change any object and try it out you will understand.
