7.0-What is the use of the checkbox Work Item to Requestor at Process End ?

Hello,

in SRM 7.0, what's the use of the checkbox Work Item to Requestor at Process End in the approval tab ?

Is it true that to be able to edit a rejected SC, this checkbox needs to be checked? in SRM 4.0 we do no need such a checkbox. Also, if this check box if checked, after the SC is fully approved, the SC is routed back to the requestor for approval, before the SC status is changed to "Approved" and send to back end for PR/PO Processing. is this a normal system behaviour in SRM 7.0 ?

Hi Masa,

Thank's for the feedback. If we always need to tick Work Item to Requestor at Process End indicator in the approval tab of the shopping cart then after SC fully approved, it always going back to the requestor but what we need is after SC fully approved, it's should be sent to back end system to create subsequent document like PR/PO, is it possible to do this in SRM 7.0 ?

Hi,

Yes it is possible. In that case user does not need to set the flag manually. You can use rule based flag set.

I mentioned it in the previous post. There is schema definition for "Acceptance by Contact Person".

I know some customers are using the manual flag for RFx process.

Hi,

Yes. It is new function in SRM 7.0 Process-Controlled Workflow.

You can also controle it by BRF condition in Process Level Definition customizing. For example, workitem goes to requester only full items are rejected or if the item is in some special category. There is schema definition for "Acceptance by Contact Person".
