Quality level

Hi,

We are migrating QM related master data from 4.6C to ECC6. We have loaded inspection plan. Please let me know the importatnt fields that we have to check in inspection plan.

When we try to load quality level, it gives an error stating inspection plan for inspection lot does not exist. At material master level, inspection type has dyn modification rule.

The quality level created when GR is done. Please tell me quality level belong to master data . If so how we can load the quality level.

When we try to load quality level, it gives an error stating inspection plan for inspection lot does not exist. At material master level, inspection type has dyn modification rule.

For removing this error you have to apply DMR at Inspection plan header(at lot level) & not at the Inspection type.

Also make sure that you are maintaining the "material Assignment" with Vendor-material combination if require.

The quality level created when GR is done. Please tell me quality level belong to master data . If so how we can load the quality level.

When atleast on lot is created with the DMR attached to the task list you can go & change Quality level in QDL2.

So actually Quality level which depends upon the Inspection plan's DMR attached.

Hi

You can not really load the Qulaity level.It has to be updated.

As I mensioned Untill & Unless you receive on lot you can not chnage the Qulaity level (Vendor-Material combination)

If lot exists then only in QDv2 you can go & change to skip level or whatever you want.

Also when skip status will be available. How to migrate. Please explain

This completly depends upon your DMR stages.

If First stage iis Inspect say 2 lots

& second stage is 10 SKIP ,then

First two lot will come to inspection & then 10 will be skipped with status "SKIP"

Boy once first lot is created then in QDL2 you can go & change Status to stage second ,so that your next lots start skipping.

Hi,

Vendor material combination gives additional function. In our case very few vedor combination availoable.

My concern is how to update the follwoing fields.

Lot usage decision

Inso.lot number

Dyn mod valuation

Modification rule in tcode QDL2 of old system.

In the above field, the data is available. How we can upload in to new system.

HI

As I told you you can not really upload Quality level form one system to other.

Simply not possible.

What you can do is

1.Get the list of all DMR

2.Get the list of All qulity Levels.

3.Now say 500 materials where in skip then ,create a DMR with First stage Skip for these materials.

and apply to these materials.

4.For those materials having Qulity level inspection for them create a DMR with fist stage Inspection & then skip.

That's only way what i feel

Till date the quality level is being created without DMR, inspection point and sampling drawing procedure.

From your reply i have understood the following. if my assumption wrong, please tell me.

1. As per your suggetion, copying the quality level from one system to another is not possible

2. If loaded, then DMR to be load in inspection plan creation and create quality level with initial stages. Then change the go to QDL2 and change the skip status.

If skip status is updated in QDL2, then what will happen to usage decision, lot created and other sctivities table entry in old system. or once updated, system will automatically create the necessary entries.

Please clarify.

Yor assumption is correct other that following:

Either you should mainatin DMR in task list header or at the characteristic level.

Depending upon the DMR like UD base or Lot based Quality Level will change.You have to take UD for the lot created.

As Quality level will be created in New system old system & new system will not have any correlation as such.
