Hi
I have a factory calender but used by 10 plants
As per the factory calender saturday and sunday are holidays
I would like to make saturday alone as a working day so that i can create a production order and execute on that day for 5 plants
Please suugest me how i can do this , is there any way ?
No scheduling should happen so i cannot create a new factory calender
Hi,
As you might be aware each plant can have its own calendar. So if you need 5 plants to have Saturday as a working day & the other 5 with Saturday & sunday as holiday, then define 2 calendars in SCAL.
One calendar will have Sat & Sun as holiday, while the other will have Sat as working & Sun as holiday. Now in OIZH you can assign the calendar defined in SCAL to the respective plants.
Also a note of caution, transport the calendar only if you're sure that all clients have the same data, else you would overwrite the data. If you're not sure, then create the calendar directly in PRD system (not recommended though).

Vivek

Hi,
At work center, when you define an interval & shift, click on new, specify the dates for which you want this, then in the column workdays specify the value 1.
System will display monday to sunday, then you can delete sunday from that list. Assign this version as your available capacity. Run MRP & check for the results.
Hope it meets your need.

you can maintain a new factory calendar using t-code SCAL (say, with Saturdays as working days)
or find out existing (if you have such)
what you need to do is
spro-enterprise structure-definition-logidtics general-define,copy,delete,check plant
define plant
details
set a new factory calendar (where Saturdays are working days)
do not forget to test it before move to PRD system
good luck
