Hi,
In MSS we have an issue with 30 line managers that can not see their employees leave in the team calendar. These managers are not part of the organization structure (and shall not be either). The Team calendar works fine (displays) for other managers who are part of the org.structure. Appearently there is a ruling that must be set for the line managers, so they can access the team manager. The county Rule group for all managers are connected to Attendance/Absence types used.
Have anyone met this type of issue before?
Kind regards,
hilde
Hi,
The work around can be build a custom releationship and an evalpath. Attach this to the object selection rule and define a custom view.
Hope this should work.
Regards
Joe

Managers should be either chief or part of organisation to view the Team calendar!
If this criteria is not met, Then you have to change the evalaution path being used in V_ptreq_team
or check
Please use the evaluation path "ORGASS".
To change the evaluation path kindly go to the view V_TWPC_V , look for
the ESSDIR view and double click on the ESSDIR.
In the SAP standard, the evaluation path SAP_MANG is used to determine
the root objects. This evaluation path determines root objects whose
manager holds a chief position (please take a look at the F1
documentation of the field "Eval.Path for Root Objects" on the detail
screen in the view V_TWPC_V "View Definition" for further information on
this topic).
In your case, however, chief positions are not used and thus you'll
need to use a different evaluation path to determine the root objects
(e.g. WF_ORGUN) in the above-mentioned view.
You can use report report RHSTRU00, to check your own path
